TIP JANVIBOL, PhD.

Founder and Managing Director

Dr. Tip Janvibol commenced practice law in 1995 with team of Tillike & Gibbins International, the oldest law firm in Thailand, opening an office in Phnom Penh and in 2004 has practiced with Scaironi & Associates. Currently, he is the founder and managing director of Tip & Partners law firm and has been a leading contributor to the development both in public and private sector in Cambodia.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tip Janvibol has advised on multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions involving clients and adverse parties from many jurisdictions. His main areas of practice are civil litigation, arbitration, mediation, labor law, criminal law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and compliance. He also has experience as in-house counsel in supply chain management, employee disputes, subcontractor issues and compliance work, where he was responsible for contractual, compliance and litigation matters.

Dr. Tip Janvibol received his pupillage education and training from both abroad and in Cambodia. A member of the Cambodian Bar Association. He holds PhD from California Coast University, Master Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Bachelor Degree from University of Maine, Preque Isle, pursued advanced studies in Legal and Judicial Cooperation with JICA, Japan. He is Fluent in Khmer and English.

In recognition of the practicalities of the global economy, the firm also includes a number of foreign legal advisors and foreign firms each of which is qualified to practice law in an English-speaking jurisdiction. These legal advisors provide the firm with a valuable source of expertise.
